DWB #Review: Jam Wireless Headphones

Posted by

When The Mrs asked me what I wanted from Santa this year I couldn’t really think of much else other than the obligatory socks and underpants. The one thing I did want was something I have been after for a while, A decent set of wireless headphones.

The reason I havent bought any is because I have a set of headphones that work fine. The only issue I have with them is that they are wired, but while I have those I thought it was a bit of a waste buying some more. it turns out I was wrong, it would have been worth it! The headphones that helped me see the cable free light?

The freedom the headphones give you can’t be truly appreciated without actually experiencing having wireless headphones.
Most of my usage is at night-time. While my wife catches some Zzzz’s I normally lay next to her and catch up on my favourite programs or any other stuff my wife has no interest in. Think UFC, Football, documentaries…that sort of thing.

Even when the room was silent I had to turn these bad boys up pretty loud before I got a nudge in my ribs telling me to turn them down. The sound is impressive and even you walk away from your device the sound quality remains. I left my iPad playing while I went to brush my teeth and the sound quality never diminished. Now I don’t live in a mansion and my bathroom isn’t far from my bedroom but you get my point! With a range fo up to 10 metres you wont have to worry about staying too close.

Pretty much everything about these earphones impress me. They come pre-charged so you can use them straight out of the box. Since I first opened these I have used them at least one hour every night for well over a week so again I am impressed with the amount of play you will get out of these.

If I had to be picky there is only one thing I can fault and that’s these are not noise cancelling. This isn’t much of a problem but as with all my reviews I have to be honest. If someone is watching TV in the same room as you for exmple, you may need to pump up the volume a little.

Would I recommend these? definitely. They can be bought online direct from JAM for £59.99 but if you google you can get them cheaper elsewhere.

These Jam Audio Wireless Headphones were sent to me for the purpose of this review but as always, my reviews are unbiased and my own opinion…I wouldnt have it any other way!

Now it’s time for me to go to bed and get some more usage out of my new fave gadget! 🙂

As always, thanks for reading.

  1. Wireless is the future, but getting medium budget good bluetooth headphones is a bit hard. Either they are made from cheap plasic or they have bad battery that will only last you a few hours and stop working before the end of warranty. Though these Jam headphones look pretty good I think we should wait a little longer for wireless to replace wired in the headphones market.

  2. I’ve tried a lot of different Bluetooth headphones and I daresay that this particular model felt a little bit uncomfortable to me. Great bass for such a low price but it’s not ok when a headband gets itchy after 60-90 minutes of use. That’s the main con of all budget models of wireless headphones: they can look great, sound great but nothing can compensate a lack of fit and (usually but not always) durability.
In my opinion, if someone really wants a good pair of headphones he/she should give a chance to LG Tone Infinim HBS-900. These are a bit more expensive but that’s top-notch quality for the money.

  3. Hello to all

The JAM Transit delivers headphone sound without the headphone bulk. Lightweight and super comfortable, they’re the perfect on-ear headphones for light to moderate activity.
